Giving God glory
is man’s highest calling.
GOD ALONE
is worthy of glory,
for he is the almighty,
all-knowing, all-loving
Lord and Maker. We can
trust him in every situation! MB
We would like to share with you what Mother Basilea once told us Sisters, “God is not a silent God. He is a God who communicates; and we have His promise of guidance, particularly in times of trouble. What He says is precious to us, and how often His Word has spoken right into our personal situation. What is God saying to us in these difficult times? We read about it in the Book of Revelation. An angel is seen flying in midheaven, with an ‘eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on earth – to every nation, tribe, language and people.’ With a loud voice he declares:
Fear God and give him glory,
because the hour of his judgment has come.
Worship him who made the heavens, the earth,
the sea and the springs of water.
Rev. 14:7 NIV
“Worshiping God is a happening, taking us into the very presence of God, and giving us a glimpse of His greatness, glory and power. Just think of the implications of worship in an age of lawlessness, terrorism, and war. Worship enables us to rise above such circumstances. Everything is put into perspective when we worship the almighty and eternal God. In His presence, the burden lifts… God is the infinite, unlimited by time and space. Being the all-powerful One, He can help us.”
O Lord we worship You.
Your goodness reaches to heaven above,
To the clouds o Lord extends Your faithfulness.
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God,
And Your compassion deep as the sea.
Who is like God? Who is like God?
None is like You, No one,
No, none with You can compare.
May you and your dear family experience our loving Father’s help in every situation.
